From September 2012, schools have been required to publish online information about how they have used the Pupil Premium. This ensures that parents and others are made fully aware of the attainment of pupils covered by the Premium. Our policy document is available here.
Pupil Premium Money was carefully spent and tracked at Avenue Primary School (now closed). We ensured that there was a whole school focus on continuing to close the gap in attainment and achievement between Free School Meal (FSM) and Non-FSM children. We led a Closing the Gap project 2011- 2012 and a Challenge the Gap project 2012 – 2013. Our financial allocations have been:
2012-2013 - £55,800
2013-2014 - £83,700
2014-2015 - £141,700
Avenue Primary Academy
2015-2016 - £132,000
2016-2017 - £114,000 - see Pupil Premium Report 2016/17 evaluation of impact, and plan for grant expenditure 2017/18
2017-2018 - est. £132,000
